is an enriching cultural and academic experience for Cherokee Nation students. The camp will include cultural activities and feature classes in the areas of Art and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). 250 Middle and High School students entering grades 7-12 will be selected to participate in the camp. Students will be placed in a morning and afternoon class based on the ranking of their areas of interested located on the application. Evening hours will provide time for recreation, enrichment and large camp events.
Camp Cherokee 2013 Resident Camp will be held at Heart O’ Hills Camp and Conference Center, Welling, Oklahoma. There is no cost to attend this overnight camp. Space is limited early applications receive preference.
