09/16/2019 – It’s time for Owasso Homecoming 2019. Homecoming is traditionally an opportunity for Owasso High School alumni to return and see former classmates, and join the community as we cheer on our band, spirit squads, and football team while they perform under the Friday night lights. Student leadership teams talked about how they can make homecoming a great event for the community and the younger Rams, they tossed around many ideas. The one that really stuck is the desire to create an event that allows everyone to celebrate together. Below are the scheduled activities.
Thursday, October 10th
4:30 PM – Community Pep Rally at the Football Stadium. During this event, you’ll get to support many student groups, and the 2019 homecoming court will be recognized.
5:15 – 6:30 PM – Homecoming Festival (Parking Lot Outside the Football Stadium) All Owasso student groups, Future Owasso Ram teams, and other community groups are businesses are invited to open a Carnival game type booth where students of all ages can play games and pick up candy or treats. An electronic application form is being created. We will let you know when that is open.
Friday, October 11th
7:30 PM – Owasso Rams hosting Norman North. All the traditional pregame and halftime festivities will occur along with crowning the 2019 Owasso High School Homecoming king and queen during the evening.
Friday, October 12th
7:00 – 10:00 PM – Owasso High School Homecoming Dance (Ram Cafe – OHS East Campus) Information for ticket sales will come out soon.
Students are excited about their planned Homecoming activities. It is a great opportunity for every student – Kindergarten through 12th grade – and their families and the community to join together for a fun-filled afternoon where we all celebrate our #RamPride.
