Last night I was taking photos of an event for a friend, and witnessed something amazing.
If you are familiar with the Rustic Cuff story at all, you know about Jill Donovan’s amazing generosity. Rustic Cuff has recently launched a new men’s line and 200 husbands and boyfriends of Rustic Cuff “addicts” across the area attended a get together of sorts at their showroom.
As I pretty much expected, Jill gave each man attending a cuff to give their special someone. That is a pretty typical Rustic Cuff story. It is what she did next that floored me.
She told the men attending she wanted them to help her do random acts of kindness, and in turn tells them she is giving each one a $50 bill to bless someone they might meet in need. When they completed their mission she just asked them to let her know who they did a kindness for and why.
203 men attended the event. That means $10,150 is now circulating the Tulsa area, waiting to help someone in need.
I heard some say they were going to local stores to watch for someone who might need help with school supplies. I heard of one man who helped a stranded motorist on his was home from the event. Some say they are waiting until just the right moment comes along to make someones day.
Whether you believe in ” what goes around comes around” or “it’s better to give that to receive” we are very fortunate that Rustic Cuff calls Tulsa their home.
