A fatality collision occurred at approximately 10pm Friday evening, December 13 on 76th Street North near Barnes Elementary School.
Anika L Miles, 41 of Tulsa, who was driving a 1998 Honda Accord was pronounced dead at the scene from massive injuries. According to the OHP report Miles was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes when she hit an eastbound vehicle head on
The eastbound vehicle, a 1997 Ford Ranger Pickup was driven by 27yo Beau Wells of Owasso. Wells was admitted to St John Hospital in Tulsa in critical condition with head and trunk internal injuries. He was pinned in his vehicle approximately 15 minutes until extricated by Owasso fire.
Seatbelts were not in use by either driver.
