Wanda Lou Hart Adair, resident of Owasso, passed away, Saturday, December 21, 2013 at her home. She was 74 years of age. Wanda was born October 25, 1939 in Springfield, MO to Henry Clay and Naomi Beulah (Winters) Bradley. She was raised and received her early education in Springfield before the family moved to Owasso in 1954. Wanda graduated high school with the Owasso Class of 1957. She was married to Don Hart on June 20, 1959. Wanda worked for Citgo Petroleum as a secretary for many years. In her leisure time, she enjoyed dancing, working in her flower garden and especially Clogging with the Turtle Creek Cloggers. Wanda was also an avid OU Sooner fan. On November 30, 2012, Wanda and Bill Adair were united in marriage at Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Those that survive include her husband Bill; children – Cindy Hart of Owasso, Darren Hart and wife Toni of Owasso; step children Christal Adair of Norman, OK, Angie Varshay-Ross and husband Ewing of Bixby, OK; Brother Kenneth Bradley and wife Cindy of Tulsa and a sister Marlene Keys of Owasso. Also surviving are her grandchildren – Kristen Surrett and husband Chris of Catoosa and Amanda Hart of Tulsa; a grandson Hunter Surrett; step grandchildren Heather Groom, Emily Varshay and Chloe Varshay; as well as nieces and nephews. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Eric Freddie Miller and a brother Clifford Bradley.
Funeral Services for Wanda will be held at 2:00 PM in the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Max Campbell of Dawson Free Will Baptist Church officiating. Private burial will be in the Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery, Owasso. The family has requested memorial donations in lieu of flowers to either: Saint Francis Hospice, 6600 South Yale Ave., Suite 350, Tulsa, OK 74136 or to Owasso Meals on Wheels in care of Faith Lutheran Church, 9222 North Garnett Road, Owasso, OK 74055. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service, Owasso.
