Owasso Native Lyndell R. Dunn announced Wednesday that he will be running for the Ward 4 City Council seat, currently held by Patrick Ross.
In a prepared statement Dunn said he wants to run because “I know our city’s reputation has suffered in recent months, I want to see Owasso’s reputation restored to one of integrity and opportunity.”
A graduate of Owasso High School in 1979, Dunn holds a degree in economics from OSU. Owner of a CPA practice, he serves as treasurer of the Owasso Rotary Club and chairs the Owasso Character Council.
Both ward 3 and 4 council seats are up for re-election on March 4.
