OPD Release: On 04/01/2013, at 9:46PM, Owasso Police were dispatched to a disturbance in the 200 Block of W 17th Street in Owasso. Upon arrival, an adult male victim was located, suffering from a single gunshot wound to the chest. Witnesses at the scene were able to identify the suspected shooter, who had fled the scene in a vehicle prior to the officers’ arrival. The 25 year old victim was transported to the hospital and his condition is not known at this time. At approximately 10:50PM, the suspect was located and detained by the Tulsa Police Department. Owasso Officers responded to Tulsa and the suspect was taken into custody. Owasso Detectives are still processing the crime scene and interviewing witnesses at this time. The suspect’s identity is not being released at this time.
UPDATE:
The shooting suspect has been identified as Ryan Alexander Williams Brashier (Age 23) of Sand Springs. Brashier was arrested on the charge of Shooting with Intent to Kill. He is currently in the Owasso City Jail pending transport to DL Moss.
