The Love 918 Truck at The Gathering
The Gathering on Main featured a new vendor last night who is hoping to make an impact on Owasso and the rest of the community. The Love 918 Truck was at the Gathering on Main last night, and was a hot spot for families and young people alike. The Love 918 Truck passed out over 200 pounds of ice cream, offered free inflatables for kids, and even had a charging station out of the back of the truck. The best part, everything was free.
Love 918 is a movement of people who are passionate about making a massive impact on Northeastern Oklahoma, their plan is simple, “Love the 918.” Love 918 was birthed in 2011 by people who wanted to make a difference in the community around them. The entire movement is driven by the promise that the hurt will always have hope and the needy will never be forgotten.
Over the past three years, Love 918 has charged the people of our communities to continually serve others through organized Love 918 events and organic, “Do It Yourself” opportunities.
