Pauline Culver Davis was born June 9, 1922, in Corbin, Kentucky to Barton and Orena (Ellison) Culver. She died Sunday, April 6, 2014, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 91 years. Pauline was reared and educated in Williamsburg, Kentucky where she graduated high school then continued her education attendingCumberland College. She completedher education earning her Master’s Degree in teaching at Oklahoma City University. She was married August 29, 1941, in Loyall, Kentucky, to James Robert Davis. Pauline spent her working life in public education as a teacher in Oklahoma City and Enid. She and her husband had made their home in Owasso since 1983. She was a faithful member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church in Tulsa. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes, particularly playing bridge. Her family was most important to her, especially her grandsons and great grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James Davis, brother, Dr. Carl Culver, and a sister, Bell Denham.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Pauline’s memory to John Calvin Presbyterian Church, 8181 East 31st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74145.
