The community is invited to celebrate spring with First United Methodist Church in Owasso for a weekend of special events Saturday, May 3 – Sunday, May 4,
2014.
These events will include something for everyone, food, music and fellowship. Weekend activities begin May 3 with “Strawberry Shortcake Saturday” 10:00am – 7:00pm on the lawn of the church. There will be plenty of strawberry shortcake, chocolate covered strawberries and other strawberry treats served throughout the day. Cost of each food item will range from $1.00 – $4.50 with all proceeds from this fundraising event to benefit the church.
On Sunday, May 4, the church will host a Spring Music Jubilee. This event will feature worship through music and the talents of the many vocal and instrumental groups within the church. Performances include those by adult choirs and ensembles, children’s choirs, hand bell choirs and an instrumental wind ensemble. This event begins at 6:30pm and is free and open to the public.
All activities will take place at the church located at 13800 East 106th Street North (just east of Highway 169) in Owasso.
