Ticket prices, on-sale date set for Counting Crows
Show is Aug. 1 at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa
TULSA, Okla. – Counting Crows are hitting the road for a worldwide tour this summer, playing two decades of hits and sharing some of the songs from their upcoming seventh studio album. The band will play Aug. 1 at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Tickets start at $55 and go on sale June 12.
“We spent the fall writing songs in New York, and we spent the winter recording them out in Berkeley. We finished a new album of all new songs, and we’re looking forward to getting out on the road and playing them,” said lead vocalist Adam Duritz. “Come out and see us – we’re excited about this.”
Counting Crows – Duritz (vocals), Jim Bogios (drums), David Bryson (guitar), Charlie Gillingham (keyboards), David Immergluck (guitar), Millard Powers (bass) and Dan Vickrey (guitar) – have sold more than 20 million albums worldwide after exploding onto the music scene with their multiplatinum breakout album “August and Everything After” in 1993.
They have released numerous hit singles, including “Mr. Jones,” “Round Here,” “A Long December,” “Big Yellow Taxi” and “Accidentally in Love.”
The band’s seventh studio album, “Somewhere Under Wonderland,” will be released in the fall on Capitol Records. This album is the band’s first new material since 2007.
Known for creating unique and innovative concerts and consistently ranked as one of the top live bands performing today, Counting Crows will embark on a world tour beginning in June in North America.
