From the Owasso Police Department | Armed Robbery: Walgreen’s Pharmacy on 86th St in Owasso
On 07/28/2014, at 1:30 PM, Owasso Officers responded to a reported armed robbery at Walgreen’s Pharmacy on E 86 St N in Owasso. A pursuit was initiated with the suspect but officers lost sight of the vehicle near N 136 St N and N. Harvard AVE. An active search is still underway for the suspect.
The suspect vehicle is described as a black Toyota SUV (possible a RAV4) with extensive front end damage. The suspect is described as an adult male wearing a blue hoodie and a mask, brandishing a dark colored handgun.
Robbery Update: On 07/28/2014, at 4:15 PM, officers located the black Toyota SUV believed to have been used during the armed robbery in Owasso.
The suspect vehicle was located near 56th /Cincinnati in Tulsa, appearing to have collided with a tree. The suspect was not located in the area. The vehicle will be returned to Owasso and processed for evidence by Detectives.
