In July 2014, an Owasso Detective posed as a juvenile female and began communicating via text message and internet chat with a suspect regarding his sexual solicitation of a juvenile. A clandestine meeting was arranged, wherein the suspect agreed to travel to Owasso to complete the sex act with the underage girl.
On 08/12/2014, at approximately 4PM. the suspect arrived at a restaurant in Owasso. Instead of an underage girl, the suspect was met by members of the Owasso Criminal Investigations Division. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
The suspect was identified as 61 year old Danny Bruce George of Clinton, OK.
Bruce is currently in the Owasso Municipal Jail pending transport to Tulsa County on the charges of Solicitation of a Minor for Prostitution, Sexual Battery and Lewd Acts or Proposals to Child.
