According to a story in the Pryor Daily Times, an Owasso man is wanted in Mayes County on felony charges of home repair fraud.
Ted Mansfield, who also goes by the name Ralph Theodore Mansfield III, is wanted by Mayes County Sheriff’s Office. The warrant, issued Monday, carries a $50,000 bond.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed in the case Mansfield entered into a customer transaction for home repair under false pretense. He allegedly told the victim he was self-employed to perform such work. According to the affidavit Mansfield allegedly then charged her a price which “unreasonably exceeded” the value of the repair and materials.
This felony is not Mansfield’s first infraction in Mayes County. In 2000 he was charged with a felony count of obtaining merchandise by bogus check, a charge he received again in 2001. He was later charged with actual physical control and public intoxication.
