Carole Ann Fry was born April 15, 1953, in San Diego, California, to Clyde W. and Shirley Ann (Blair) Fry. She died Friday, October 24, 2014, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 61 years. Carole was reared and educated in Owasso and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1972. She was trained by Goodwill Handicap Industries and spent most of her working life as a maid with Sheraton of Tulsa. She was honored as the Goodwill Employee of the Year in 1977-1978. In her early years, Carole attended First Baptist Church in Owasso, and then was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Owasso. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including watching movies, working puzzles, and reading.
Loving family members include: Her mother; Shirley, of the home Brother and sister-in-law; Wes and Patti Fry, of Owasso Sister and brother-in-law; Shawn and Rock Parker, of Collinsville, OK Two nieces; Stephani Barger and her husband Robert, of Owasso Allison Cabrera and her husband Mike, of Owasso Two nephews; Thomas Fry, of Owasso Wade Parker and his wife Amy, of Owasso And a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde W. “Simon” Fry, and a brother, William J. Fry.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2014, with funeral services held 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2014, both at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso with Pastor Dean McDaniel officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Thomas Fry, Wade Parker, Wesley Barger, Tanner Cabrera, Mike Cabrera, and Robert Barger. Committal services and interment will follow at White Oak Cemetery in White Oak, Oklahoma. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Goodwill Industries, 2800 Southwest Boulevard, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74107.
