“It is with great sadness that the Owasso Police Department announces the passing of Detective Bill “Mo” Mozingo.
Mo has served with the Owasso Police Department since 1991, assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division at the time of his death. Prior to coming to OPD, he served with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office and he was a veteran of the United States Army. A graduate of Owasso High School, Mo was a beloved fixture in the community through his chosen career in law enforcement as well as his youth mentorship as a coach in the Owasso football program and the Owasso High School Forensic Science classes. Without a doubt, Mo will be greatly missed.
