Municipal Candidate Filings Set to Begin Monday, February 2, 2015
Candidates for municipal office in 6 Rogers County municipalities file Declarations of Candidacy beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, February 2, 2015. Julie Dermody, Secretary of the County Election Board, said the filing period ends at 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2015.
Declarations of Candidacy will be accepted at the County Election Board office for the indicated offices for each of the following municipalities.
City of Veridgris—Town Clerk 4 year term
City of Verdigris—Ward 2 Trustee 4 year term
City of Oologah—Clerk/Treasurer 4 year term
City of Oologah—Ward 1, 3, 5 Trustee 4 year term
City of Oologah—Ward 2 2 year term
Town of Inola—Seats 1, 2, 3 Trustee 4 year term
Town of Inola—Town Clerk 4 year term
Town of Inola—Seats 4 and 5 Trustee 2 year term
City of Claremore—Mayor 4 year term
City of Claremore—Ward I and IV 2 year term
City of Claremore—Ward I, II, III, IV 4 year term
Town of Chelsea—-Town Clerk 4 year term
Town of Chelsea—2 Town Trustees 4 year term
Town of Chelsea—2 Town Trustees 2 year term
City of Catoosa—Ward 3, 4, 6 4 year term
City of Catoosa—At Large Council Member 4 year term
The municipal offices at stake in Verdigris, Oologah, Inola, Claremore, Chelsea, Catoosa will be filled in the nonpartisan General Election scheduled April 7, 2015.
