Rosemary Angelo, resident of Owasso, passed from this life on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at her daughter’s home. Rosemary was born July 5, 1944 in Queens, NY to Thomas F. and Julia (Tolonits) Whitford. She graduated high school in Bellmore, NY. Rosemary and Gerald Angelo were united in marriage on June 30, 1962. She taught religious education classes (CCD) at St. Henry Catholic Church. Rosemary was proud of her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved to crochet and play the slot machines.
Those that survive include her husband – Gerald of the home; children Donna Logsdon and husband Kevin of Catoosa, Dawn Earp and husband Darrell of Owasso, Debbie Wilkins and husband James of Frisco, TX, Gerald Angelo and wife Kate of Springfield, MO and Dominique Gates and husband Caleb of Jenks, OK. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; and a sister Elaine Steeneck of Ridge, NY. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Thomas Whitford.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM – Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at St. Henry Catholic Church with Father Richard Cristler officiating. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso. www.moweryfs.com
