On Wednesday March 25th, 2015, search warrants were executed at several businesses, including the Peace Pipe Smoke Shop located at 11301 N Garnett Road in Owasso.
Over the last year, Owasso detectives have participated in an investigation involving the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Cherokee Nation Marshall Service, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office, the Owasso Police Department and the Claremore Police Department into the alleged illegal sale of “K-2” or synthetic marijuana at area businesses. The search warrant served at the Owasso smoke shop today is a direct result of that investigation.
This continues to be an active/ongoing investigation. All further media inquiries related to this case should be addressed through the US Attorney’s Office in Tulsa.
