08/11/2015 Owasso Fire responded to a grass fire just before 9:00AM Tuesday morning on the east side of Highway 169 between 96th and 106th Streets North. The fire was put out quickly.
As I am reporting this they are being called to another fire at 76th Street North and Sheridan. Dry conditions are making for easily ignitable grass, especially when cigarettes are thrown from car windows.
OFD has responded to several grass fire calls over the last few days.
