Claudia L. Martin was born June 11, 1921, in Smithfield, West Virginia, to Marion and Cora (Starkey) Yeater. She died Sunday, August 30, 2015, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 94 years. Claudia graduated with the West Union High School class of 1939 and went on to earn her Associate’s degree from Fairmont Business College. She was married January 22, 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jack D. Martin. Claudia retired as office manager at Webb Air Force Base in Big Spring, Texas. She was a faithful member of Owasso Church of Christ, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, reading, playing games on her computer, and volunteering at the hospital. Most of all Claudia loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Fred Yeater, Son, Larry Martin, and grandson, Jacob Martin.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2015, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at the Owasso Church of Christ with Pastor Dan Schnell officiating. Committal services and interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Ponca City, Oklahoma. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Hope Harbor Children’s Home, P.O.
