Audry Ray (Buddy) Bruster was born September 25, 1935, in Madill, Oklahoma, to Lonnie Floyd and Ada Bell (Robinson) Bruster. He died Sunday, October 4, 2015, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, at the age of 80 years. Ray completed his secondary education at Chattanooga, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Chattanooga High School Class of 1955. He was a veteran of the armed forces having served his country honorably with the United States Army and excelled as a sharpshooter. He was married September 22, 1962, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Sharlene McCauley. He spent much of his working life as a computer operator with Public Service Company of Oklahoma. Ray enjoyed a variety of pastimes, including hunting and fishing. He also continued his expertise as a sharpshooter. He was an all-around handyman and was able to fix most anything. He would enjoy spending time taking apart and fixing cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Timothy Ray Bruster, three brothers, Clarence Bruster, Orval Bruster, and Tommie Bruster, and two sisters, Winifred Ruth McPherson, and Wanda Sue Causey.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2015, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2015, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Father John Grant and family friend, Max Taldo officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 4110 South 100th East Avenue, Suite 101, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74146, or the COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, Coral Gables, Florida, 33134. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
