Geraldine Mae Rogers was born February 17, 1938 in Childers, Oklahoma to Guy and Aurilia (Bass) Dickens. She attended school in Nowata, Oklahoma and graduated with the Nowata High School Class of 1956. She then went on to earn her Associates Degree from Draughon’s Business College. She worked several years as a Stenographer for Texaco in the Accounting and Geological Departments, but spent most of her working life as a Records Analyst in the Material and Inventory Department for McDonnell Douglas and retired in 1994 after 25 years. Geraldine enjoyed sewing, reading, and bowling, and had a particular love for animals, especially dogs. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Aurilia Dickens, and her husband, Herman Rogers, to whom she was married to for 33 years.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at Fairview Cemetery in Owasso with Pastor Ben Killion officiating.
