Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a fatality collision occurred 10-31-15 at approximately 1:35pm on State Highway Twenty (SH20) and 177th East Ave, 2 miles east of Owasso, OK in Rogers County.
A 2009 Toyota Corolla driven by Kelly C. Keller , age 34, of Collinsville, OK was traveling northbound on 177th E Ave. when a collision occured with 1999 Harley Davidson Motorcycle driven by Walter S. Zaring, age 68, of Broken Arrow, OK. Vehicle-1 was traveling northbound on 177th E Ave. Vehicle – 2 was traveling eastbound on SH20 when a collision occurred near the center turn lane on SH20 within the intersection.
Keller was not injured. Zaring was transported by Owasso EMS to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Subject was admitted in critical condition with head, trunk internal, trunk external, arm and leg injuries. Zarings passenger, Caitlyn M. Palmer, age 26 of Owasso, was pronounced dead at the scene due to massive head injuries by David Wood with Owasso Fire Department. Subject was transported by Ray Francisco’s funeral home to the medical examiners office in Tulsa, Ok.
