Robert Benton Dill was born July 31, 1936 in Yanush,OK., the Son of Millard and Ada (Howard) Dill. He departed this life, entering into his heavenly home on Saturday January 16, 2016 in Tahlequah, OK., at the age of 79 years 6 months and 16 days. He had been a resident of Coweta for the past 43 years.He graduated from Panola High School in 1957. On December 3, 1960 He married the love of his life, Euva Williams and they were united in marriage for 55 years. On May 8, 1995 He retired from Albert Equipment Company after 20 years of service as a Diesel Tech. Robert enjoyed life and loved everyone he met. His theory in life was, “You may mess up your day, but you aren’t going to mess up mine”. He always had a smile and a handshake for everyone he met. He truly believed a smile costs you nothing and blessed others. He will be missed by all who knew and met him.
He was preceded in death his parents, Father-in-law: Edmond Williams, 4 Brothers: Virgil Dill, Roy Dill, Leonard Dill, and Billy Dill, 4 Sisters: Velma Dixon, Vida Boatright, Vada Mote and Vera Dill.
Robert is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife Euva Dill of the home, 3 Sisters-in-law: Sandy Dill, Judy Dill, Chris & husband Dr. Frank Clingan. 1 Brother-in-law Luther & Millie Williams. Mother-in-law: Pearl Williams. A host of Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Liberty Freewill Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, OK. Officiated by Rev. Reece Murray. Interment will follow at New Home Cemetery in Peggs, OK. Pall Bearers will be Richard Robinson, David Olivarez, Ed Mitchell, Ronnie Cox, Bob Kelley, and Robbie Patton.
Visitation will be held 2PM to 8PM Monday, January 18th, and 9AM to 8PM on Tuesday, January 19th. Family will receive guest from 4-6PM on Tuesday evening.
