Cynthia Lou “Cindy” Burns, age 58 passed away on Monday, February 16, 2016 at her home, from her battle with cancer. She was born in Seminole, TX to Walter “Red” and Lula “Sue” Quillen. She loved to hunt and fish with her husband, Tim. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Cindy served in the Air Force and retired from the Oklahoma Air National Guard. She also worked as a realtor with Chinowith and Cohen.
Cindy leaves behind her husband Tim, of the home; two daughters, Brandy and husband JD Baker, and Joey and husband Dee Richardson; one son, Sam Farrill of the home; five grandchildren, Deraka Baker, Alyanna Baker, Kainan Baker, Carson Farrill, and Payton Richardson; and one sister, Debbie and husband J.C. Hailey; one niece, Nicole Hailey and fiancé Arthur Clement; one nephew, Justin Hailey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Red and Sue Quillen.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation in Cindy’s name to Grace Hospice, Post Office Box 33234, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74153-1234.
Visitation for Cindy will be held Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 19, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Collinsville with Rev. Steven Shotzman officiating. Interment will follow. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, (918) 371-2111.
