R-Mitchell Semple, Teacher Jill Henrie, Ethan Beaird
Ethan Beaird and Mitch Semple both placed 2nd at the Oklahoma Science and Engineering fair held in Ada, Oklahoma this past Thursday and Friday.
Ethan’s project was in the Mathematics Category where he investigated probability in the game of Risk, then applied his findings to the risk involved between countries when trying to control the spread of contagious diseases such as Ebola and Zika.
Mitch competed in the Computer Science Category, where he investigated which computer program was best to guide his Lego robot along a curved line. His project had applications that could help with robot competitions.
