Ralph Edward Fruechting, Jr. Feb 20, 1935 – May 2, 2016

Ralph Edward Fruechting, Jr. was born February 20, 1935, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, to Ralph Edward and Elsie Opal (Barker) Fruechting. He died Monday, May 2, 2016, in Collinsville at the age of 81 years. Ralph completed his secondary education in Owasso, Oklahoma, and was a graduate of Owasso High School. He was married August 25, 1954, in Eureka Spring, Arkansas, to Mary I. Fritz. He was a veteran of the armed forces having served his country honorably with the United States Navy. He continued his service with the Air National Guard in Tulsa. Ralph spent most of his working life with American Airlines an instruments/avionics technician. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including flying, fishing, and attending bluegrass festivals. He and Mary also enjoyed traveling around the country in their RV.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 2:00 Friday, May 6, 2016, at the First Baptist Church in Owasso with Reverend Ed Richards and Brenon Fulton officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Ralph to the Folds of Honor Foundation, 5800 North Patriot Drive, Owasso, OK 74055. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
