Mary Ruth Turner was born May 7, 1941, in Nowata, Oklahoma to Boyd and Ruth Vivian (Mills) Worthington. She died Thursday, August 25, 2016, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 75 years. She was educated in Pasadena, Texas and graduated from Pasadena High School Class of 1959. Mary was married November 27, 1962, in Pasadena, Texas to John Lloyd (J.L.) Turner. She spent most of her working life as an office manager for BioTex. Mary was a longtime member of Berean Christian Church in Houston, Texas. In her spare time she enjoyed going to movies and attending “Little Theater” in Pasadena. Mary was also an avid doll collector and also a huge Elvis fan.
