Ruby Novella Stephenson, resident of Collinsville, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at the age of 76 years. Ruby was born January 14, 1940, in Liberal, Kansas, to Roy and Mary Ellen (Center) Davis. She was raised and received her education in Stillwell, Oklahoma, graduating high school there. Ruby lived most of her life in Tulsa where she worked as a medical assistant in the health care field. She enjoyed sewing and her many church activities.
Ruby is survived by her children: Debra Johnson of Catoosa, Dean Stephenson and wife Kelli of Sand Springs, and Deanna Stephenson of Tulsa; five grandchildren: Daniel Johnson and wife Heather, Dusten Johnson and wife Shannon, Cole Stephenson, Benjamin Koelsch and wife Tiffany and Malia Stephenson; three great grandchildren; and an honorary son Kenny Koelsch. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister.
Memorial services for Ruby will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2017, in the chapel of Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso. Services and cremation have been entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso. www.moweryfs.com
