Sixty Owasso middle school girls from the sixth, seventh and eighth grades joined about three hundred other middle school and high school students this past week for Sonia Kovalevsky Day.
This was hosted by Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance at the TCC NE Campus. The girls participated in several hands-on group activities to encourage young girls to consider STEM related careers.
It was very exciting to walk into each room and see smiles and positive collaboration as they were solving various challenging tasks.
