Marcia Anne Brummett was born May 8, 1962, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Arthur Paul and Alma Joanne Mullin Winton. She died Monday, May 15, 2017, in Sperry, Oklahoma, at the age of 55 years. Marcia completed her secondary education in Pocola, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Pocola High School Class of 1980. She was married April 14, 1989, in Fort Smith to Frank Brummett. She spent most of her working life as a custodian with Owasso Public Schools, as well as Whirlpool and helping her husband at Brummett’s Auto Sales. Marcia was a faithful member of Faith Fellowship in Collinsville, and cherished her work in the ministry and her role as an evangelist’s wife. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including working outside planting flowers and collecting Del Way memorabilia. Everyone knew she was an avid University of Oklahoma fan and always cheered for her Sooners.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joanne, son, Travis Brummett, and grandsons, Travor Brown and Grayson Brooks.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Faith Fellowship in Collinsville with Pastor Kelvin Limbocker and Pastor Frank Brummett officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Austin Wyatt, Tristan Brummett, Joel Mace, Brent Reamy, Jessie Winton, and Kyle Vines. Committal service and interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
