Francis “Frank” H. Henry Jr. was born April 13, 1929, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, to Francis H. Henry Sr. and Veronica “Kelly” (Madden) Henry. He passed from this life Saturday, September 9, 2017, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 88 years and joined his wife, Marie, who passed 7 months earlier. Frank was raised and educated in New Kensington, Pennsylvania and graduated from Ken High School. After high school, he went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Pittsburg in 1951. Frank served his country honorably after enlisting in the United States Army and serving as a Chemical-Arsenal Engineer in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was married November 9, 1953 in Pine Bluff, to Marie (Koen) Henry. In 1964 he transferred to Russellville, Arkansas for the startup of Firestone Tire and Rubber Company. He was promoted to Plant Manager in 1978 and remained in that position until 1987 when he became the Plant Manager for the American Military Arms Corporation in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Before retiring, he was Manager of the Quality Management Program at Conagra Foods in Russellville. He was a longtime member of St. John’s Catholic Church and dedicated his life to his career and his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Marie.
Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2017, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Russellville, Arkansas with Father Jack Sidler officiating. Graveside service will follow at Rest Haven Catholic Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
