Carole Mae Thomas was born November 4, 1944, in Cotton Plant, Arkansas, to William Bowman Thrift and Gladys (Gilliaum) Thrift. She passed from this life Wednesday, November 15, 2017, in Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 73 years. Carole was reared and educated in Cotton Plant and graduated with the Brinkley High School Class of 1962. She was married on July 17, 1964 in Brinkley, Arkansas to Danny Thurrial Thomas. Carole spent most of her working life in customer service and in the home raising her children. She attended Collinsville Freewill Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as arts and crafts, shopping, and she loved children and would babysit for many people when she had the opportunity.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Gladys, husband, Danny, 2 sisters, Eugenia and Kaye, and brother, Gerald.
Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Collinsville Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Herman Wood officiating. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
