Donna June Handel was born September 5, 1926, in Olivet, South Dakota, to Jacob and Iva Schettler Barth. She died Friday, December 8, 2017, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 91 years. Donna completed her secondary education in South Dakota and later taught school in a one room house. She spent much of her working life as an interviewer for employment with the State of California Employment Service. She was a longtime faithful member of the United Methodist church. She was active in women’s Bible study, the United Methodist Women, and taught Sunday School for over 60 years.

Great grandchildren; Hailey Booker, Austin Booker, Meadow Leboldus, and Kade Mariano
Brother and sister-in-law; Jay and Judy Schettler, of Tulsa
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the Alsup Chapel of the Baptist Village with Pastor Jim Cinocca officiating.
