Upon completion of her education, Marie went to work for St. John’s Hospital where she worked in payroll and became their first computer operator. She left this job to raise her two children, eventually rejoining the workforce in 1974 at Hussmann Refrigeration. She remained in the position of office manager there until retirement.

Marie was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Owasso and First Baptist Church of Salina, respectively. She enjoyed jigsaw and word puzzles, collecting music boxes, and fabric painting on tea towels. Marie’s family will fondly recall her colloquialisms including “horsefeathers,” “fried rats, fried cats, toadfrogs and butter,” and “EEE Bob!”

Marie is survived by her husband, Bobby Lee Siens; daughter, Laura Grutz and her husband, Jay; two grandchildren, Sidney Grutz and Seth Grutz, and his wife, Lindsay. She has one remaining sister-in-law, Sharon Littlefield, one brother, Daniel Littlefield, Jr., numerous nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Marie is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth L. Siens; her parents, Daniel and Irene Littlefield; her brothers, J.W. and Don Littlefield; and sisters, Betty Pritchett and Glenda Littlefield.

Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso followed by a visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2018, at the First Baptist Church of Salina, Oklahoma. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at the First Baptist Church of Salina with Pastor Steve Waechier officiating with viewing one hour prior to service. Committal service and interment will follow at the Ross-Mayes Cemetery east of Salina. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
