Lynn Wilfred Hanover was born May 15, 1932 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Earl Lloyd Hanover and Alma Olivia (Iverson) Hanover. He passed from this life Thursday, April 19, 2018, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years. Lynn was raised and educated in Tulsa and graduated with the Central High School Class of 1950. After high school, Lynn served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. Soon after he was discharged, on December 23, 1955 Lynn married Donella Marie Hulsizer. Lynn spent most of his working life as the Director of Audio and Visual Electronics at the University of Tulsa. He has been a faithful member of First Assembly of God Church in Owasso, Oklahoma since 1996. Lynn and Donella were active in the church and served with the Mission America Placement Service (MAPS) traveling by RV building churches and parsonages all over the country. Lynn had a variety of pastimes including carpentry, remodeling, woodworking, gardening, birdwatching, and fishing. Those he leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include:

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Alma, and 1 brother, Lloyd
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2018 at Mowery Funeral Service. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Owasso First Assembly of God church. Pastor Bruce McCarty officiating. Interment will be held at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made in Lynn’s memory to Owasso First Assembly of God Mission Fund, 9341 N. 129 E. Ave., Owasso, OK 74055.
