05/29/2018 – Owasso’s Main Street continues to change… and for the better.
It has been a long time coming, but the new Redbud Festival Park has broken ground just south of the Owasso Police Station.
The two acre park should be completed by late March, and will include a covered pavilion, ideal for a farmers market or other events, a covered stage on the east side and a water feature that will stretch the length of the park.
A kick-off for the park is planned for the first Gathering on Main in April of 2019. The current footprint for remaining 2018 Gathering on Main events will adapt for current construction.
Once the park is in full swing, expect events such as movie nights, concerts, holiday celebrations and more.
I for one, can not wait!
