06/27/2018 – Twenty-seven Owasso businesses were visited Tuesday night, by underage shoppers, trying to purchase alcohol.
Lt. Nick Boatman with the Owasso Police Department tells Owassoisms that two of the twenty-seven stores failed the test, selling to minors.
Those stores fined were:
- Garrett Creek Wine and Spirits – 11560 North 135th East Avenue
- Anytime Liquor Store, Inc – 8355 North Owasso Expressway.
Employees at those locations were cited for selling alcohol to minors.
Lt. Boatman says convenience stores, grocery stores and liquor stores were checked for alcohol compliance.
