11/20/2018 – On December 3rd, Natalie Cash, with K95.5 FM – Tulsa’s New Country Leader will be bringing her Bikes for Kids fundraiser to Owasso. Natalie is an Owasso native and is excited to be bringing her event home. This will be the 4th year for the Bikes for Kids fundraiser.
Natalie, and Rustic Cuff founder Jill Donovan, will be climbing a 30′ tower in the Owasso High School Stadium parking lot, not coming down until 955 Bikes are donated for area children for Christmas.
This year, the tower will be a little more decked out than usual. Our friends at Cornerstone Ace Hardware will be lighting up the tower with festive Christmas lights, and our friends at the Owasso Christmas Tree and Berry Farm have donated a tree to help make the tower a little more festive.
Owassoisms staff will be in charge decorating the tree, and thought it would be fun to get the Owasso community involved, as we know they always come out when needed. Our staff will adorn the tree with Christmas tinsel and a star on top, and invite the community to decorate the rest of the tree with home made ornaments from the heart. At the end of the event, the tree and all its decorations will be donated to a local family in need of a little Christmas cheer.
Get your crafty ideas churning, and get the family together for a little creative Christmas fun.
We will be setting up the tree at the stadium lot on Sunday, December 2nd, getting it ready for ornaments to be added. We will create a Facebook event, and update you with additional details as the day draws near.
