12/06/2018 – Glenna Gay Wilder Todd was born in Claremore, Oklahoma on February 8, 1950 to Vernie and Leila Wilder.
She graduated from Catoosa Public School in 1968, and then went on to receive her Bachelor of Science degree from Southwestern Union College in Keene, Texas, receiving a Major in Home Economics, minoring in English.
After graduating from college, Glenna taught Home Economics before entering the business world. She worked in the advertising department at the Owasso Reporter for many years, where her vibrant personality and pleasant smile made her a favorite with both clients and co-works. As a result, Glenna won numerous awards for outstanding performance. She was also a devout member of the Catoosa First Baptist Church assisting in many activities. On February 24, 1994 Glenna married Joe Todd of Catoosa and they enjoyed twenty four wonderful years together until Joe’s death, February 9, 2018.
Although she suffered severe health issues for many years, she never complained or became discouraged. Her sweet smile and cute little giggle when she spoke to you, will be remembered by all who had the privilege to know her. Glenna passed away November 29th at Canoe Brook Nursing home.
She is survived by her brother Donovan Wilder of England, stepson Tim Todd and wife Judy O’Mara Todd, granddaughter Chelsey Todd, cousins Georgia McAfee and Carolyn Stinnett, numerous nieces, nephews, and many church family and friends.
