Lyndee Lee BaileyLyndee Lee Bailey was born September 10, 1952, in Los Angeles, California, to Arthur Burt and Jessie Deloris Smith Wilson. She died Tuesday, March 12, 2019, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 66 years. Lyndee was reared and educated in Collinsville, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Collinsville High School Class of 1970. She continued her education at Oklahoma Military Academy in Claremore, Oklahoma, before attending the University of Tulsa. Her education was interrupted when she met the love of her life and married Jack Clayton Bailey on March 24, 1973, at the Sharpe Chapel on the University of Tulsa campus. Lyndee worked as book keeper to the family business, then later work with Blue Cross/Blue Shield as a claim’s processor while earning her MBA through St. Gregory’s University. Always a servant at heart, she enjoyed spending time ministering to older adults at area assisted living facilities, especially Prairie Village near Owasso. Of course, she cherished her role as Grandma to her grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 Friday, March 15, 2019, at the Collinsville Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Adam Yandell and Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating. Private family disposition will be held at a later date. The family requests memorial contributions be made to 1040i, P.O. Box 721765, Norman, Oklahoma, 73070, or at info@1040i.com . Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
