04/09/2019 – Official signups for a new rugby club based in Owasso and open to all 14-18-year-old boys in the North Metro area.
Guys from North Tulsa, Sperry, Skiatook, Collinsville, Oologah-Talala, Claremore, and Verdigris are all welcome. Coaches will have a table in the store from 10-2 to answer questions, provide information, and discuss the vision and future of the team.
There will be a non-contact practice on Sunday, April 28th at 2:00 PM. Practice will include passing drills, offensive/defensive open play drills, and finishing with a game of touch rugby. This will take place at the Owasso Sports Park South with access from 106th street North between Mingo and Garnett.
Northland Yetis Rugby Club promotes the game of rugby in the North Tulsa metro area. The Northland Yeti’s is a high school age boys rugby club based in Owasso.
