Barry Richard Hubbard was born June 3, 1958, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Thomas Edward and Delores Darlene Steddum Hubbard. He died Wednesday, August 28, 2019, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 61 years. Barry was completed his secondary education in Owasso, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1976. He continued his education at Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa graduating in 1987. He was married January 22, 1988, in Tulsa, to Renee Cook. He spent most of his working life as a mechanic with American Airlines. Barry enjoyed a variety of pastimes including watching the Sci-Fi Channel and watching any and all football games he could find. He loved to eat at Taco Bueno as often as he could. He particularly enjoyed his role as Papa to his grandchildren. Those he leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include:

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Tim Prock officiating. Final resting place will be at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
