11/01/2019 – Wholesale Computer Supply has been serving the Tulsa area for 20 years from its two retail locations. And when they say, “We don’t just talk computers; we know computers,” they mean it. As the largest independent computer store in all of Oklahoma, they have a longstanding reputation. Over the years, their team has serviced well over 100,000 computers and laptops, providing quality service to loyal customers—some driving from as far away as Kansas.
Now they are bringing that same expertise and selection to Owasso with the opening of their third location at 9540 N. Garnett in the Fairway Market shopping center behind Christian Brothers Automotive.
Managing Owner Randy Wilson says he has been eyeing the location for 11 years and finally made his dream a reality when the store opened in August.
“We are so excited to be in the new Owasso location to help Owasso and surrounding towns with all of their computer needs. And it’s our nicest store yet,” Randy says. “I have been watching Owasso for years. The look of 96th Street North is so nice, vibrant and growing. It reminds me of 71st in Tulsa. I thought if I’m ever going to do it, the time is now.”
At Wholesale Computer Supply, customers can choose from hundreds of laptops. As a Microsoft registered refurbisher, they will ensure everything works as good if not better than when it was new.
“We mainly sell refurbished business-class laptops,” Randy explains. “They are built better and are more rugged. They are built to last and carry around, so you get so much more bang for your buck.”
There’s also a huge selection of desktop and gaming computers.
“We have over 40 different case styles in stock and lots of parts to build your own gaming computer,” Randy says. “Or you can upgrade the one you have. We can also custom-build one for you. We have completely new and refurbished gaming computers in stock ready to go. Everything we sell is internet ready and comes with virus and spyware protection software.
“If you need parts or cables, chances are good we have it in stock as well.”
While you may not be in the market to purchase a computer, they can assist with other related needs, such as servicing. You can rest assured that their team of experts will perform the work in-house—no shipping it off for warranty.
If your operating system is Windows 7, they can help you prepare now for the impending end of life date you may not even be aware of yet. On Jan. 14, 2020, Microsoft will no longer update or support Windows 7. For $119 (including labor and software), Wholesale Computer Supply will update your computer to Windows 10, and if your system is running slowly, they can speed it up, guaranteed.
Other specials include $100 off any laptop or desktop computer $399 and up.
The first 100 customers who visit the new Owasso location will receive a free wireless mouse just for checking it out.
Business hours are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Randy says if you can’t make it by 6 p.m., call the store, and hours can probably be extended to accommodate your schedule.
