Betty June Brewer, longtime Owasso resident, passed from this life on March 5, 2020 at the age of 90 years. Betty was born April 5, 1929 at Springfield, MO to Frank and Inez (Lane) Thomas. She was raised and received her education in Springfield, graduating Springfield High School. On September 25, 1949, Betty was united in marriage to Norman Kyle Brewer in Saint Louis, MO. They moved to Owasso from the Keystone Lake area in 1980. Betty retired from Boeing Aircraft. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting ceramics.
Those that survive include her son Jeff and wife LaDonna Brewer of Owasso and a sister Oma Williams, also of Owasso. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman on July 2, 2016; a son Larry, three sisters and one brother.
At Betty’s request, cremation will take place and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
