04/09/2020 – At approximately 7:15 Wednesday evening, Owasso Police were dispatched to the Sawgrass Park neighborhood, where an armed man had locked himself in a vehicle, threatening suicide after a domestic incident.
Police negotiated with the man, who was inside a vehicle near North 118 East Ave and East 100 Street North. Nearby residents were evacuated and police asked people to avoid the area.
After four hours, police negotiators were able to talk Richard Marte into exiting the vehicle.
Marte was arrested and charged with the following:
