Dorothy Elizabeth Fessler was born October 29, 1931, in Craig County, Oklahoma, to John Yost and Ethel (McCormick) Yost. She died Thursday, December 24, 2020, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 89 years. Dorothy was raised and educated in Welch, Oklahoma where she attended Welch High School. She was married November 13, 1948, in Bentonville, Arkansas to John Fessler, Jr. Dorothy spent most of her working life in the home, raising her 4 children. She was a faithful member of Hillside Christian Church in Nowata, Oklahoma for over 25 years. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as dancing, gardening, and playing cards.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ethel, 4 brothers, Jess, Morris, Park, and Gordon, 3 sisters, Jewel, Louise, and Bettie, and her daughter, Janice.
