Carl LeRoy Worley was born on October 2, 1933 at his home in Owasso, Oklahoma to Paul Frederick Worley and Laverne (Allsup) Worley. He died on Thursday, December 30, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years. Carl was raised and educated in Owasso and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1951. He then enrolled in the ROTC program at Oklahoma A&M College but shortly moved back home because he missed Betty too much. He was married on September 7, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Betty (Kelley) Worley. Carl spent most of his working life as a truck driver with Zeligson Truck Company in Tulsa for over 35 years. He was a charter member of First Baptist Church in Owasso in 1965 and was a Deacon for many years. In his spare time Carl enjoyed a variety of past times such as farming, gardening, raising cattle, attending and teaching Sunday school, church activities, traveling with Betty, and listening to country music.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Laverne, son, Monte, wife, Betty, daughter, Terry, and brother, Gene.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Owasso with Pastor Chris Wall officiating. Interment will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulsa. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made in Carl’s memory to First Baptist Church Mission, 13307 E. 96th St. N. Owasso, OK 74055, or Clarehouse, 7617 South Mingo Road, Tulsa, OK 74133. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service.
