Larry Duane Bejcek was born July 21, 1939, in Hallett, Oklahoma, to John and Anna Belle Seaba Bejcek. He died Tuesday, October 5, 2021, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, at the age of 82 years. Larry completed his secondary education in Cleveland, Oklahoma, and was a graduate of Cleveland High School. During high school he excelled in football, basketball, and track, lettering four years in all three sports. He was a veteran of the armed forces having served his country honorably with the United States Navy. In his early working life he worked as a deliverer for Wonder Bread in Tulsa. He spent most of his time working as a manager for Malone Food Products. Larry was a strong man of faith and attended A Glorious Church Fellowship in Collinsville, Oklahoma, as well as The Cowboy Church in Talala, Oklahoma. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially playing golf around the Tulsa area. He and his golf buddies would also take the occasional guy trip to try a new golf course. He was also an avid sports fan, particularly football and basketball. He was affectionately known as “Poppy” to his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Audrey Bejcek, and granddaughter, Stacy Murphy.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Graveside service and entombment will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2021, at Green Acres Memorial Gardens in rural Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Larry’s memory to A Glorious Church Fellowhip, 915 North 19th Street, Collinsville, Oklahoma, 74021. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
